This is the most recent announcement about the Waco, Texas event. Eleven cast members are scheduled to be there! I’d love to go to this, but I can’t. I hope some of our forum members will attend and report back to us.

This is about 2 hours away from where I live and I have never been to anything Waltons related like this before in my life. I would love to go to something like this, but I doubt my mom and dad would allow me to go by myself and seeing that it is on the weekend and my dad is the Pastor of the church and my mom is the Children's Minister, I know Sunday would definitely be out and most likely the entire thing would be out because of preparing for Sunday.
I also know see that this is in Texas they will bring the BBQ and it will be good ya'll. So if you do attend be prepared for some good BBQ eatin'.

They just announced Michael Learned, who I've never had the pleasure to meet so I'm thinking really hard about going. Waco is about 2 1/2 hours from me. When will this ever happen again?
Anyone else from here going?

This will be really fun. I am in Ecuador at the present time and thankfully I have met all of the cast members who will be in attendance, since this reunion is impossible for me.

I posted this on the “Judy’s behind the scenes videos” board, but I’m reposting here because of the information about the Waco event that she shares in this video.

I didn’t see David in the above photo, but I searched “Waco Walton Fest” on Facebook and there were photos of him there.

The event organizer wrote to me and said that David arrived late due to flight delays. That is why he was not present for the picture taken during the day on Friday.

They announced there, the next one would in Charlotte, North Carolina in May. That's 3 hours for May Maybe David will come. I did not make Waco. Bummer. Don't have any thing else. Just info that it was announced. Fingers Crossed. I did see yesterday on Facebook that May 4, there is a fundraiser in California to Benefit Martha Nix's charity. David and some others will be there.
