I rarely type my thread on my computer, but when I do, after it has been posted, then all the paragraphs have strange and very bizarre start and stop lines. Before I post it, each line in every paragraph connects to the sentence before it and there are no big gaps or half empty lines. Yet, when I read it back, after posting, it is very disjointed. I have no idea why that happens. After I complete typing each paragraph, I can easily read each line with no empty spaces. I usually type my threads on my phone, but too many times after I have written everything, I may be going back to the top to proofread it and then BAM my WHOLE post DISAPPEARS!! I am usually in bed, next to my sleeping hubby and it takes every ounce of restraint not to scream or punch my pillow! Luckily, he does not end up being my punching bag!

I don't know why your text suddenly disappears, but the problem with your lines 'breaking up' is due to what is called 'wrap-around'.
Ordinarily, every sentence in a paragraph should wrap around to the next line when you reach the right side of the text box (the space where you type your response). You can artificially mark the end of a sentence and force a new line by hitting the 'ENTER' button when you're near the right side of the text box. After that, it depends upon how your browser is set up to display the text. I've compared the text you entered in the Hallmark Christmas thread to the text as it appears on my screen. Each line appears to be marked as a sentence, either by you hitting 'Enter' or by your computer removing wrap-around and marking the end of each line as a complete sentence.
But, I've just had a thought. Do you type into the forum Create/Reply box or do you type into a word processing program and copy/paste it into the reply box? If you're doing this, then you may have to change the settings in your program to initiate 'Word Wrap'.
So, if you're not hitting 'Enter' on each line, then I have no solution to your problem because I don't know what you're using or what you're doing.
By the way, can you copy/paste on your phone? If so, you can copy your post before you scroll back up to proofread it. Then, if it disappears, you can simply paste it back in.

Thanks Easton for taking the time to explain the mystery around my weird sentences! I always type my post in “create” mode. I think I always type my line of the post, then it wraps around to the next line. At least I think I do that. Will have to explore your “wraparound” theory. Perhaps I make sentence mid-line. Thank you!!

'Text Wrap', or 'Wrap Around', is an automatic process which processes long text (such as a paragraph) into lines which fit within the side margins of your display screen. Otherwise, you would have to do it manually by hitting 'Enter'.
Do you remember typing with a typewriter? You would put in an 8 1/2" x 11" piece of paper. Usually, there was a 1 inch margin on each side and you couldn't type outside those margins. The carriage would move one space to the left with each character you typed but, when you reached the edge, you had to move the carriage arm by yourself. That would roll the carriage up one line and move the carriage back to the left margin to start a new line. That is what 'text wrap' does for you automatically. You can just keep typing.
Whatever you were doing in your posts, it was like you hitting the carriage return in the middle of the sentence before you reached the end at the right hand margin, as I have done as an example in this paragraph by hitting 'Enter' for each new line.
I should have explained it using the typewriter before, but I didn't even think of it.
I can't help you more than this. I don't know what functions your phone or table or whatever you use actually have, meaning I don't know if you can turn 'wrap around' off and on.
