I noticed in The Great Motorcycle Race that the sound effects are off in some scenes. Where they show previews of the episode and Jim Bob is riding the motorcycle with the side car up in the air. The engine sounds more like a two cycle chain saw than an old Harley Davidson motorcycle.
There is a blooper that I caught while watching The Parting. During the first five minutes of the episode, while Olivia is waiting on the front porch for John to come home and is talking to Jim-Bob, the draperies to the living room windows are obviously open allowing us to see inside the house where Ben, Erin and Elizabeth are. However, when Olivia and Jim-Bob finish their scene together and Jim-Bob enters the house through the front door with the scene now taking place inside the living room, the draperies to the living room windows are obviously closed.
Bloopers are fun to catch! I notice that in one episode, there will be a vine over the steps to the front porch and the very next episode it's gone. I've even seen that happen in ONE episode... one of the last ones.
Hey, I still can't get over the fact that they completely omitted John Curtis and Ben's second child in one of the movies. It's like the writers of that movie didn't watch any of the series. Bad omission! Bad, bad...
The grass withers, the flower fades, but the word of our God will stand forever. Isaiah 40:8
I saw one in the Prophecy When B.C.Graddy is talking to John Boy and the kids are in the chicken coop he tells his wife to to something about it his wife gets out of the car to run the the coop and throws the hat she was fanning her self with back at the car and it ends up on the ground but the next time they show the car the hat in on the front seat.
On the prophecy where John is having his high school reunion it is said that John graduated in 1911 but in the diploma it was said the John left to be in the war before he graduated. We didn't get into WW1 until 1917.

This is a point which has been discussed several times. Probably there were different scriptwriters who did not look back at prior episodes. At the time there were few VCR's and nobody expected that they would be able to check back and find out prior errors.
I saw something I have never heard talked about before. I was watching the Townie and when John Boy and Sarah Jane are coming back from the movie. When they first show them in the back of the truck you can see someone standing on the running board of the truck on the drivers side looking back. Look on the upper left side of the screen.

I re watch that episode last month. I must have missed that blooper. I'll re watch that scene. See, if I can spot that blooper.
I noticed something in The Changeling. In the scene where Elizabeth's rocking chair is jumping up and down, when the chair finally falls over onto the floor, the string or fishing line that was being used to make the rocker jump up and down can be seen falling down as well.
