I cannot let my 3am misspelling of Kevin’s last name stand. It is NOT “Donson”! I keep telling myself NOT to do these posts at 3 or 4 am, but my insomnia has other ideas!
If I have learned ANYTHING working for and being around actors my entire life - it is you always “get the credit spelled right!” My deep apologies to dear Kevin!

Ten points from Gryffindor!!
Don't blame yourself. After all, the 'b' and 'n' keys are next to each other, and, at 3 or 4 AM, does your thumb really know where it is at that time of the morning?
(By the way, are you aware of the Edit feature which allows you to edit any of your posts after you've posted them? Well, if you edit the first post in a new thread that you started, you can edit the 'Subject' line as well, but only in that first post. If you edit a post later in the thread, the Subject line is no longer available for editing.)

Easton is correct. There is an edit feature, so you could have changed the spelling yourself in the original post. I have already edited it for you, though, so this thread can be removed if you like. Just let me know.

Thank you to Easton AND the Administrator for helping me out with my total misprints and typos. I do not know where the “edit feature” is, so I would appreciate your guidance. I am horrified that I accidentally said Tom Tryon “did” want his family to know about his illness when I obviously meant “didn’t”. One other question : when I dictate or type my posts and re-read them, they are in perfect line by line paragraphs. Why, then, when it does “post”, it is often with a split in the line and the words then starting on the next line. Doesn’t seem to happen to others. Is there a way I can fix this?
You will notice, probably QUITE amazed, that I am posting this just after 1am! Have I taken to slugging wine, Ambien or Advil PM? Why is this post not appearing between 3 and 5am, you may ask? No, it is just sheer exhaustion! We live up in Laurel Canyon, just beneath Mulholland, among the coyotes, bobcats, snakes, spiders and the dreaded family of lizards that congregate at our home for their Monday get-togethers and stay through the week!
When I shut our front door to go outside, I usually see them scatter under our cars, behind the palm trees, up the plants and inside some redwood boards that decorate the sides of our house. Only once, though, in our 48 years living here, did I have to chase a lizard through my house for 3 hours until I got it to go out the front door. We have 2,000 sq.feet of tile. That is, until today!!
I came walking down the hallway this afternoon, without my glasses, and saw, what I thought to be some dust or something in the middle of our white Terrazzo floors. But, when I bent down to pick it up- it was a baby lizard that scurried into our guest room. YUCK!
Now, I use to be a childbirth educator and have seen over 15 C-Sections. Never bothered me a bit. My husband hates spiders. I can remove them without a thought. But lizards make me cringe! I think it a reaction formation to the geikos who use to drop on me from my ceiling in my dorm room in Maui — WHILE I was sleeping!!! Even a live-in psychiatrist can’t fix that PTSD!!
Well, at least it wasn’t another rat that was in our house for 3 weeks (and outwitted 6 exterminators!) when our daughter was 7 months old. No parent should have to open their baby’s clothes drawer and see rat feces and urine all over their cute onesies. I was ready to move!
Good Lord!! How did Earl and his family live in their own rural “Waltons” Mountain without having developed some severe phobias with all the “critters?” I guess if you are around them all the time they wouldn’t bother you, as much. But, I see lizards outside every week. I guess I just don’t want to see them IN my house.
My husband and I moved furniture, bags, cupboards and everything we could lift and searched that one room for almost 2 hours and never could find the little sucker! Any tips? Needless to say, we are sleeping with every light on in our house!
Sweet dreams……NOT!!

I just logged onto the forum using the Safari browser on my iPhone, and apparently the “Edit” button is missing, or at least I don’t see it anywhere. I nearly always use my iPad or laptop to access the forum because the phone screen is too small for me to see as I am visually impaired. On those browsers, I do have the “Edit” button. I never dictate posts. I can’t imagine what would appear from my Appalachian twang. I always type them using the keyboard, and on my iPad or laptop, there is an option to preview the post which again seems to be missing from the iPhone browser, so I’m not sure what to tell you. I have never noticed any unusual splits in the lines of your posts though. 🤷🏻♀️
I understand your phobia. I live in the woods, and I often see rabbits, squirrels, deer, and other critters around my house, and my neighbor has recently seen coyotes. I even had a family of foxes living under my back deck a few years ago. The only critter I allow in my house is the cat, though, and he’s a good hunter, so maybe he keeps the other critters away. I hope you find that lizard.

EDIT: The administrator beat me to it as I was typing my response. So it does appear to be a cellphone problem after all.
Please disregard everything you see below this \/ \/ \/
Thank you to Easton AND the Administrator for helping me out with my total misprints and typos. Firstly, every post you make contains an Edit button. You are the only one who will see it and, except for the Administrator, you are the only one who can edit your posts.
If you look at any of your posts, you should see these icons at the upper-right of each post within the thread. (I don't see yours so I have to use my post as an example.)
When you click that button you will go to a window which is exactly like the window where you posted it in the first place. There you can edit the text to your heart's content: adding text, deleting text, changing text, etc.
If you edit the very first post, you will also get the Subject (title) bar that you can edit as well. You cannot edit the title of any of your subsequent posts.
When you're finished, click the Save Changes button at the bottom of the text box.
NOTE: If you don't see the Edit button in your posts, then it must be something with the phone layout and programming and I don't know anything about that. I've never even used a cellphone let alone own one. Sorry.
Secondly, concerning your second question, I don't understand what you are trying to explain. Your posts look just like everyone else's to me. For instance, you last post from which I made this quote, there are 9 separate paragraphs, so I'm not seeing a problem.
Hope this helped.
