I found this photo of Mariclare Costello, it is the most recent photograph I have seen of her, it was taken April 2007.

WOW! I probably wouldn't even recognized her, had I seen her on the street. I'm assuming that's her husband next to her? RYAN J.

I didn't know her husband was "Sidney Freedman"!!! M*A*S*H* is another of my favorite shows.

I would not have recognized her either. I just watched the episode where she started to court Rev. Fordwick and John Boy was jealous. School did not seem the same in later years without Miss Hunter.

She just looks a little older that's all. A little gray hair here. A few wrinkles there...and I do recognizer her husband! ;D

I think she has aged gracefully. I think it looks ridiculous and disgusting the way some stars try to look nineteen when they're pushing seventy. Ms Costello looks very nice and just as graceful and sweet as a retired schoolteacher should!
Thanks for posting the picture. I always like "where are they now" photos and stories.

Nate, I agree with you about old stars trying to look 19. It can be disgusting. But in Mrs. Costello's case, she has grown old gracefully. Just the way I would picture Mrs. Rosemary Fordwick after retirement.
