With the panademic still going on, I'm trying to remember any disease outbreaks on the show.
John was in the hospital for the flu, Zeb had the flu a few times. Olivia was oddly the only person who had polio in her community.
There was the "fever " Granny Ketchum died from.
Any others anyone can think of?

Erin had tonsillitis.
Erin and Elizabeth had colds when John and Olivia went away on their honeymoon.
Elizabeth had the croup when Porthos died.

Livy got the tuberculosis. None of the kids got chickenpox or measles. Poor Olivia she got the lions share of diseases.

Besides the mentions of flu already mentioned, IIRC they mentioned "the flu" several times rather ominously which I took to be references to the 1919-1920 Spanish Flu Pandemic that killed more than 500,000 Americans and 50 million world wide. It would've been fresh in the memories of most of the adults on the show.

Jason’s friend Seth had Fatal Disease Syndrome (the kind you get on TV where you are going to imminently die, yet you look completely healthy).
It’s not a disease, but Johnboy did have multiple head injuries (the one in The Thanksgiving Story and the one in the war).

Jim Bob and Grandma had appendicitis. In the same episode that Grandma had appendicitis it was mentioned that stomach flu was going around.

Olivia was oddly the only person who had polio in her community. Which makes you wonder how did she contract it?
