Can't wait - glad to see us back in Lynchburg - that's where my sister lives so it will be very convenient for us. I was so afraid we would miss the meet & greet last year fighting the rush hour traffic to Charlottesville. So excited to hear who will be coming! Thanks for all you do Carolyn! Since you'll be in the 'burg this year, maybe we can help you a bit!! Let me know!

I made my reservation at the Kirkley Hotel today. I will be flying in from Cincinnati. This will be my first Walton Reunion as I am a brand new member and I am very excited about it. I will be looking forward to meeting everyone. Marcia

How many people generally show up at these reunions and how often do you have them?

They have one reunion every year. Usually in Virgina and they go out to The Waltons museum and the old Hamner house in Schyler. They have gone to California before, a couple of times I know of but that was before I knew anything about the reunions. There are usually a little over a hundred people there, or that is the way it was the last two years when I was there. On Saturday night they have a banquet dinner. On Friday night before that, they have a meet and greet session where the cast members are there at the hotel to take autographs or just talk or whatever.

That's alot of people! For that many people that attend, I'd surprised more of them don't post on the forum. Sounds like a fun event. Do all the actors show up each year?

Not all of the actors are there every year. Just two or three and Carolyn has different ones every year. I have heard that when they went to California they had several of the actors there because most of them live out there.

Wow, the California reunion would have been a once-in-a-lifetime event to attend! I've never been to California.

We really did have a bumper crowd in 2007. My family and I were lucky enough to be visiting the US at the same time the reunion was on so we were able to go. It was fantastic. I'm waiting for the day when Rod has retired and we can come over to another reunion.

Hi Ryan,
I am sorry to hear about what happened to you. I know how you feel now because the same happened to me last year. I was very disappointed about my Walton"friend" Peter last year. I tried to help him with his website, I translated for him because he doesn´t speak english, I gave him all the informations about the Waltons I could get. I promised him to bring a lot of material home from my visit in Schuyler last year - including photos, a video about the museum and my travel report. After we came back from our trip to Virginia we drove about 450 miles to his home to visit him and to show him everything we collected on our trip. 2 days later I got an email he told me he is not satisfied with the photos and the videos I made. That was enough.
This was the moment I decided to create my own website about the Waltons. And today I am very happy about my decision and a lot of people tell me they like this site.
Ryan, I really hope you will find a way to realize your wish to join the reunion this year. Then we will meet each other there ! Don´t be too disappointed.
Best wishes, Dagmar
