I was just looking on a website called "The Waltons Wiki" which has infomation on the characters and episodes and it has a page of Season 10 of The Waltons. This page has a list of episodes and even a synopsis of some of the episodes. Now I know that Season 9 is the last season, but does anyone know where the person who wrote this page got their infomation? thewaltons.wikia.com/wiki/Season_10 That's a link to the page I am refering to.

The Waltons ended in Season 9 which we all know that. Sounds like this person just created their website and made up the episode. It's just totally hoax.

I just took a 'brief' look at the list of episodes and can say that this is a total parody. There never was a 10th season so why create unexplainable episodes to mar the value of the entire show?

Jim Bob never got married but I did hear that their was to be a season 10 with just the children and was going to change the name from The Waltons to Waltons Mountain but it got canceled and that is where the first 3 reunion movies come from.

Wikipedia is not the most reliable source. I agree that this was more than likely a hoax. In fact,it was thought that season 8 would likely be the last for "The Waltons" until CBS gave the go-ahead to proceed with season 9.

Some people will do anything to get their kicks. It is a shame there has to be people out there like that. That is why I tried to stress how important honesty is here a while back but I think I upset two or three people and I hate that. I had no intentions of making anybody mad.

As a Teacher Librarian, it's a very good example of why we say to check out the information from another source before taking it as fact. :-)

I see they're deleting that page. No doubt someone from here alerted them to the deception. bmcgill, if anyone got upset because you stressed the importance of honesty, then I would wonder how honest THEY are. Honesty is very important in all aspects of our daily lives and is not something to take offense to. Honesty is at times very difficult, but necessary. I applaud and respect anyone who insists on it in every thing they do. It's the only way to go, then you never have to look over your shoulder, so to speak. ;D

Dear SSMarilyn,
I did go back to the site and four days later the page is still there. Some episodes seem plausible--The Nun might have been about Mary Conover--she may have left the convent and may have started seeing Jimbob once again. The Fever in which JohnCurtis becomes ill. Now he is in the first reunion movies but then is not in any subsequent movies. We know from the 1963 Thanksgiving Reunion that Virginia died in either late 1961 or very early 1962. It would be appropriate for them to have the last day---Elizabeth graduates from high school but couldn't they think of a more appropriate way to describe it---like Graduation Day or The Farewell???

I haven't and won't look at any mythical extra episodes list, since I'd rather remember the show as it was, and still is when I watch it on DVD. Now, it would have been nice if the show would have continued with just the Walton children and their families, as well as Ike, Cora Beth, Verdie, and Harley. I would love to have an extra 2-3, or more seasons to enjoy, but it wasn't to be.

For sure Ike and Cora Beth would have had to been part of any other episodes... they turned out to be the backbone of the show. Consistantly there every time and I love them both!
