Did anyone happen to catch Richard Thomas in the small role as Father Don in the movie "Taking Woodstock." I just watched it last night and almost didn't recognize him at first with the gray beard and curly hair....was surprised to see him in the movie but wish it has been a larger role.

I've never heard of the movie. Is it an old one?

I am not familiar with the movie. Does it have anything to do with the Rock Concert,so to speak, that took place there in the summer of 1969?

It's a movie that came out in 2009, and it's now out on video. It's the true story of the young man who was responsible for convincing the Woodstock promotors to bring the concert to his tiny hometown of White City where his parents run a failing motel.

It wasn't too long ago that I saw a documentary type show on this exact subject. They interviewed the guy that convinced the promoters to bring Woodstock to his town. It was a good doc.
