I think I noticed that too. I think they only made the Ford Model B one year and I think that is what that is. Being a panel truck probably would make it even more rare. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

Hello All,
I am new here and found this site because of this very thread. It was the old cars that first got me interested in the Waltons years ago. After reading this several times I did some checking and it would seem that the Baldwins did infact drive an 1925 Studebaker Standard Six and Sheriff Bridges' car appears to be a 1930 Buick Series 60. That information come from IMCDb.org.

The car that Ep's new bride drove was (I believe) a 1936 Ford. My father had one....his was a four door sedan. It had wooden floor boards and everytime my father drove over a big puddle my mom would raise her legs! I also got car sick in it from the leaking exhaust system.
