Last night, I watched Yours, Mine and Ours, and I noticed that Walter Brooke played one of the characters. I recognized his voice right away, and I remembered him being on the show as Mr. Johnson, John-Boy's boss at the Jefferson County Times. He was truly a great actor.

I assume it was the 1968 version with Henry Fonda and Lucille Ball. There was a remake of that movie a few years ago which I've never even seen. Why do they want to remake a movie with classic stars like Henry Fonda and Lucille Ball? I don't understand the thinking. Is Hollywood running out of ideas? If so, they can skip the remakes as far as I'm concerned and let us watch the old movies and TV shows.

I have not seen the remake and I have no desire to. I do not understand why they have to remake classic films. They should not tamper with classics.

I just saw a well known movie on my channel guide when I was flipping through and when I looked at who was in it, I didn't recognize any of the names. Then I realized they had remade it. I couldn't understand why. I wish I could remember what it was now. I think I immediately dismissed it and blocked it from my mind. Lol

I love the 1968 version of Yours, Mine and Ours. I like it better than the 2005 version.
