Is there a place to find the open and closing narrations of each episode? Some of them really move me.

Is there a place to find the open and closing narrations of each episode? Some of them really move me. Go to allaboutthewaltons.com and scroll over the "Episodes" tab. It will show you a drop down menu. Click on whatever Season you want, then the specific Episode. He has provided in text the Prologue as well as the Epilogue for each show.

My favorite epilogue by far is for Founders Day. Makes me tear up just thinking of it!

My favorite epilogue by far is for Founders Day. Makes me tear up just thinking of it! Oh yes, if I get interrupted watching this episode I always make sure I do not miss Earl's epilogue in this....such a wonderful tribute to his ancestors and so eloquent. A very, very close second is his closing narrative in The Bequest Series 2. "To their surprise, and our grief, time crept up on those two vigorous old people...."............such a touching tribute to his grandparents. I really believe that having loving, involved grandparents in their lives makes a huge difference to the life of a child.
