Another Richard Thomas movie, "The Christmas Box," which has been shown on INSP, will also be on the UP network in the next few days. I'll post it when I get the date/time.

We watched this movie last year and we all watched it the other night. It's a pretty good movie.

We are making a note to watch it. It will be a good movie to watch while we wrap presents.

I could never get "enthused" about that particular Richard Thomas movie. "The Christmas Box" in which he starred with the original Olivia (from "Spencer's Mountain") and recent recipient of an honorary Oscar Maureen O´Hara is much better. He also did "Yes, Virginia, There is a Santa Claus," which is quite good.
Michael Learned did two Christmas movies: "A Christmas Without Snow," which also stars John Houseman, Professor Kingsfield from "The Paper Chase" as a choir director who leads a performance of Handel's Messiah. She also did a "Roots" movie with LeVar Burton: "The Gift."
As for "The Waltons" Christmas episodes, my favorite is "The Best Christmas." Always warms my heart.
