Baseball, kickball and hopscotch come to mind.

I saw a basketball hoop at the Waltons school a couple of times but I never saw a game played They played dodgeball when Elizabeth was injured in the Ordeal and she stopped the ball with her crutches making her teacher smile. I may be wrong, but I don't think basketball was even invented until the 1940s. Or am I wrong?

The history of basketball began with its invention in 1891 in Springfield, Massachusetts by Canadian physical education instructor James Naismith as a less injury-prone sport than football. Naismith was a 31-year old graduate student when he created the indoor sport to keep athletes indoors during the winters.

Sports are just organised games, so organised games can be sports. (I'm no so sure that yo-yos can be considered a game, but I like your thinking!)
Baseball was the only organised sport I can think of except for a football practice, but none of the Walton kids played it.
Still, they often played a game we used to call Monkey In The Middle, but I've heard it called Keep Away.
