I just have a couple of questions about Leslie Winston (Cindy) and I was wondering if anyone could help answer them?  1 Leslie Winston plays one of my fav brides of the Waltons cindy, but i've notest looking up stuff about the Walton's that she is not very famous and not really talked about. does anyone know why that is? I think she was amazing on the Waltons and deserves some credit for it. 2 does anyone know of an address which I can write to her to? or if she replies to fan letters? 3 is she on this forum? 4 is she in anything else? 5 is it just me or does anyone else think that she is beautiful? As far as I know she has never been on this forum. You can go to www.imdb.com & type in Leslie Winston in the search box. That will show you information on her including what other acting she has done. Yes, she is very beautiful. I had the honor of meeting her at Kami Cotler's (Elizabeth) 40th Waltons Anniversary Reunion in Los Angeles, Ca. last year. She autographed two photos for me & she was very nice & gracious.  |

While I can't answer those questions, I think the reason that Cindy isn't talked about very often amongst fans is because of when she was introduced. I love the series all the way through, but I know that some people enjoyed it less as it went on and see Season 7 as the point where it began to go downhill. So I guess she's not talked about because people don't enjoy the episodes she's in as much. Rose probably has it just as bad, she's not often talked about either. Jeffrey, Serena, Toni, Paul, Jonsey and Stanley have it even worse, they are talked about even less, though all were big parts of the series at the end.

Thanks. X I loved Leslie Winston's character!! I was saddened by her later life with Ben (in the TV movies) due to them losing Virginia -- and for some reason Charlie's character was dropped?? Very interesting but I don't think Leslie Winston Cindy would have come into the series earlier, because Ben would have been way too young to date or get married. Otherwise he would have dated Nancy Madsen the girl he took to see her mother in the Lie or the girl that Ben and Jim Bob gt a fight with at the movie. Also melody Thomas Scott and the other car dealer girl he saw. Yes Cindy came at the right time of the series but she would have been nice to have had her there earlier in the series.
