Miss Emily was acting very weird in that episode. Miss Emily and Miss Mamie were just sweet confused old ladies who made the Recipe.

She actually thought Ashley jr was "her" Ashley.

He probably looked very much like his father and Miss Emily hadn't seen Ashley Sr in probably 50 years so only remembers him as a young man about the same age as Jr is now so I can see where the confusion could come in.

I agree. People tend to get confused about things as they age anyway, and the shock of seeing "Ashley" after waiting for him all those years probably threw her over the edge.

I did not care for The Legacy, either.
On a side note, others are mentioning Jonathan Frakes and Genie Frances. Let's not forget they both starred in the mini-series (one of my favourites!!) North and South. He played Stanley Hazard, George's brother and she played Brett Main-Hazard, younger sister of Orry.

Luke from "LUke and Laura" is gay, right ? Not that I've heard but what difference does that make? I've never been one to watch soaps, but I did a little research, and I think awesomemixtape10 might be thinking of a different Luke. Apparently there is a gay couple, Luke and Noah, on As The World Turns. I got the info from this site, Top 10(ish) Soap Opera Romances of All Time, which rates Luke and Laura as the number one soap romance of all time, but says nothing about that Luke being gay.
