They have all the episodes and are in pretty good quality. I think they may be used some. They had almost all the Waltons seasons on sale for 10 bucks. I went in to browse, but I didn't want to pass that kind of deal up and got lucky to find the price and what I was looking for. I hope you find something good too mtdawg. WmFan

In regards to the Wonder Years, I had read that there were a lot of copyright/roalty issues related to the '60s songs they used in the series as background music, which is why you don't see the series on tv much.

I understand music and copywrighting some, but they play classic music in lots of shows and movies. What's so special about that they cant release DVDS??

The same problem with China Beach being placed on DVD...music rights are prime property..you cannot even get petticoat junction theme song on season one

I had hoped that Mr Novak might one day come out on a DVD. There was one episode The Student Who Never Was---The Sam Orez Case---which although was far fetched was also intriguing. They only had the first season of Alias Smith and Jones on DVD. They never produced the second season.

mtdawg I see alot of Waltons stuff on youtube, but it looks like excerpts and not episodes. I have all the dvd's, but how do we know if they are original run or not?

Marilyn, As I said, It is shameful if someone on this site ruined YouTube, as I watched while sitting in a hospital room taking care of my partner for three weeks. Anyways..the integrity of the DVDs..Review Jeff Jarvis on IMDP..he is a big fan of family shows and will share his thoughts. I personally am not buying. Also Marilyn, since you are a big fan..Tonyray sent a WONDERFUL Site from a former director of the Walton's.. I read for two hours..you MUST check it out senensky.com/the-cradle/

Quantum Leap also had problems with their dvd's because of the music they aired when the show originally aired. They replaced the music on the dvd's and people were mad.
