Here is the link to the "In Memoriam" that they showed at the Wilshire Ebell Theatre on 9/29/12. It is 5:59 long. I CRIED when I saw it in person but I really had a good cry when I watched it a few minutes ago. So many of our beloved Waltons family have passed on:
The only person that I know that they left out of the In Memoriam is Lucille Benson. She played Tillie Shanks on the episode "The Fledgling" (1976).
Here is another one from the same night. It is of Rich Thomas, Gerald McRaney & Bruce Davison's portion of the show about Johnboy (Richard Thomas). It is 10:55 long.
Hope you all enjoy them. foreverwaltons

Might have been easier to list who hasn't passed.
What was up with the applause and who was applauding? Was it because you liked a person or not? Some did not receive any applause.

It was the audience who was applauding. I personally like to wait until something like that is at the very end & then applaud.

"I personally like to wait until something like that is at the very end & then applaud. " I agree. Can you imagine looking down from heaven and when your name was called and your picture was shown, nobody applauded? It would make me cry even if I was an angel.

Also, when people applaud, I always miss the next person.

I agree as well. It kinda sounded awkward for the ones who tried to clap for some of the people, and the rest of the audience, was like, " no, we're only clapping for the ones we really love". I don't think people intended to make it sound like that, but one big applaud at the end would have been good.

My goodness, that in-memoriam was so sad! and I agree with everybody else, I thought the clapping would be best at the ending too.

Still brings a few tears to the eyes watching it! You & Daniela are most welcome! JeannePhx, the "In Memoriam" was so bittersweet in person, wasn't it?? Being able to totally concentrate on it now on my computer really brings it home. We all just have a short time here on earth. I loved the music that was played to it, I had never heard it before. When I got home I found out that the music was "Life & Death" & that it was from the tv show "Lost." (I have never seen an episode of Lost). I think it is such a moving piece of music. It touches something inside of me.
