I wonder if Richard Thomas lost some weight between Seasons 4 and 5? I've just watched The First Edition again, and John-Boy's clothes look really baggy on him!

I noticed that his face looks thinner, but I also notice that he had a better hair cut that opened his face more than in other seasons.

It's possible. Could be, the costume people couldn't track down better fitting clothes for him, because if I remember correctly Eric Scott said to me at the reunion all those clothes were really from that time period and were held together with Duct tape. lol. ;D RYAN-J

But no, I don't think that it, because I'm pretty sure it's the same clothes he had before, they just suddenly look very big on him!

Don't you normally gain weight when you first get married? Lol

Surely the extra energy expended during the early "love months" keep any weight gain at bay ??!!
