I can't remember how many Christmas episodes of The Waltons there were. Probably one from each season. I remember one where grandma and grandpa drive through a snow storm to get home from visiting someone...maybe Maude? What is your favorite Christmas Waltons episode and why?

I don't think there was one for each season until the 5th. That one was The Best Christmas Ever, and it is my favorite. It is the one where Zeb and Esther go to visit Maude and drive back in a snowstorm. This was the last Christmas when the whole family was together. Just like Olivia thought. I think this is a list of the ones there were. If I have forgotten any, let me know. The Homecoming - Pre Series, I'm not exactly sure if this counts. The Best Christmas Ever - season 5 The Children's Carol - season 6 Day of Infamy - season 7, it's sort of a Christmas episode because they were going to have an early Christmas for Mary Ellen and John Curtis before they went to Hawaii. The Spirit- season 8 Actually I can't think of any for seasons 1-4 or for season 9.

I like the season five one the best and season 6 the least. The kids in six got on my nerves.

YesDay of Infamy gets forgotten as a Christmas episode because of the Pearl Harbor tragedy, but Mary Ellen to her credit still wanted to celebrate Christmas also to cover up grieving yes, but they celebrated the season just the same in that episode Wm Fan. Merry Christmas all.

Wow...I can't believe there were no Christmas episodes for the first four seasons, especially since the show was based on a Christmas themed pilot movie.
