Watched it myself today (on DVD), an excellent episode ;D I must say that I LOVE John-Boy's sarcasm with Elizabeth at the start, one of the funniest scenes of any episode!

I also thought Jason was kind of funny/sarcastic when he told Rev. Fordwick that "you could find Baptists who were against most anything" when the Rev said some people were against hanging of the greens at Christmas.

Heh I think it's Reverend Fordwick's response that makes it funny, Jason just casually says "Well, some Baptist will object to anything!" and he replied "What." heh heh heh ;D

So, in The Best Christmas, after JB and Harley pulled Ms Fannie from the water, they went to Verdie's house to get warm and dry. JB put on Harley's clothes at first. Next thing you know, there he was back in his own clothes which Verdie supposedly laundered. How do you suppose she got those suckers dry so fast in that cold, snowy winter weather? Guess it was the "Magic of Christmas"!

Watch the dog closely while Elizabeth is watering the cow - standing with it's front paws on the rim of the water barrel it reaches in and catches hold of one of the styrofoam 'ice' chunks with it's teeth.

Guess it was the "Magic of Christmas"! As in those days she would have hung or draped them across a chair to dry behind the coal/wood stove. It still would have taken longer to dry
