I haven't written a good post in awhile, but I think of this one every time I watch the Waltons. What do you dream of and what does the Waltons do for you.?Today I'm watching The Minstrel and Mary Ellen is young and dreams of wanting to leave the mountain. And I'm a want to be writer like John Boy and watching the Waltons makes me dream and hope even if I don't quite get there. That was quite the way it was in the Depression and somewhat today too. Not a lot of money and jobs, and dreaming of a better life and what people wanted to do. But the Waltons were rich not always in money, but they found a lot of love and support at home and that always made them very rich. And they had clothes to wear, food to eat and a bed to sleep in. What more could you really ask for? I have that and a few other things even though I continue to dream of better times and higher wishes. But I've lived good and so have the Waltons. Hopefully you are too. So what do you dream about and do you dream also watching the Waltons? Happy Days another good show and take care wmfan/sportwriter

Whenever I watch the Waltons, except for some of the weird episodes, I fantasize being in that family, with those parents and grandparents. Their life to me is an almost perfect life, in a perfect location. Love it!

Their life to me is an almost perfect life, in a perfect location. Love it! Somebody came into the store I work in the other day with 8 or 9 children and someone asked me how do they do that. I don't know personally I'm an only child but it made me smile and think of the Walton's.
