Thanks for the article, john..... I am feeling more like visiting the museum after reading it..... I didn't expect there to be any mention in the article about the rift between Earl Hamner and the museum, and now I'm trying to remember the details..... so, any forum member remember what it is all about ??
Thanks, Jeri

Thanks for posting those articles, River. I remember when the whole thing was being played out on the old forum. It was not a pleasant time. Hopefully people will just read the articles to satisfy their curiosity, then let it go. It has been 10 years since this happened. Jim Hamner has passed away, Earl Hamner is nearly 90 years old, the museum has survived, we have more Waltons' fans than ever, and we just experienced 2 wonderful Waltons events in California. Time to move on.
