awesomemixtape10.....if you got loaded on "The Recipe," I think you would have a cast iron stomach & definitely regret your hang over the next morning!! LOL! The sample was in a small shot glass & it smelled like pure alcohol & as I posted earlier, the ones that drank it really had an immediate reaction. I think it would have caught on fire if you decided to light a match to it, but then again it might have exploded!! But who knows some people can drink alot of that kind of alcohol.

I'm from West Virginia. I know Bootleg whiskey and moonshine. lol.
you know how ya tell the good moonshine from the bad ?
if the flame is blue when you light, it you are alright.
If the flame is red when you light it that means you will die if ya drink it. lol

" I am guessing those kids of the cast grew up with NO fear or prejudice after working with him all those years. Excellent question, awesome..... Geer was such a unique, complex, and necessarily interesting man..... I wonder, too, if his communist leanings had much impact on the youngfolk in the cast..... His gentle manner may well have provided a soft "introduction" to those parts of his personality..... and, hopefully contributed to open-minded "education." Oops -- silly me..... these were Hollywood kids, and it was the changing times of the 1970's !!! I was taking myself back to kids in the 1930's !!!

Still a good question, though.. I guess one would have had to have met the man to know the real truth.

The mansuetude of the man was there on screen; the children would have each have a different opinion of the man. Meeting him in conversation outside of that sphere would have been a totally different experience. An actor acts, after all.

I believe he would have befriended, even embraced, them quite a bit..... At least, from what I've read, that seems like the man to me.....
