Here's a link to some evidence as to Judy having a older sister: news.google.com/newspapers?nid=1346&dat=19761031&id=Au8vAAAAIBAJ&sjid=wvoDAAAAIBAJ&pg=4872,8734207 Here's an excerpt which also mentions her first of three marriages..... many sites tell of just two but there were three. ============================================================= From The Lakeland Ledger, October 31, 1976 Earlier this year, 19 year old Judy Norton married a young singer-musician named Douglas Taylor. The two met at a Scientology workshop, where both achieved the rank of minister. “I got into Scientology when I was 13,” Judy relayed during a lunch break at the Burbank studios where The Waltons is filmed. “My older sister was having boyfriend problems at the time. So my step-mother took us both to one of the meetings. For me, it was fun getting out of the house three times a week. ========================================================= The article actually reports quite a bit of interesting stuff......

I'm thinking about the supposed reasons behind Tom Cruise's recent divorce.... Back in the early to mid-70's at some point, I was invited by a co-worker to an "open" Scientology meeting.... yup, much like Alcoholics Anonymous .... Coincidentally to Judy's sister, I had recently lost a boyfriend and a fella at work was trying to be helpful by introducing me to Sci..... he was a strange guy -- quiet yet intense -- but extraordinarily good looking, so what the hay ?! Within about 30 minutes I was already feeling very uncomfortable..... they tell a good "story" but I felt like they were attempting their own brand of brainwashing on me. Yikes. I suspect that they focus on those who are vulnerable (perhaps only momentarily) and try to draw them in. Scary. I suppose it could be a good thing, an answer, for some people. BUT NOT FOR ME !!!

At our local library book sale this summer there must have been a couple thousand Scientology DVD's, books and phamplets,
I still wonder if anyone bought them,
I saw in the article that Judy moved up to priest?

Those sort of religions are all rubbish. 10 mins after you are in the door, somebody is always asking for your credit-card number. Luckily we don't have them much in the UK.
However, there was a Christian channel called just "GOD" a couple of years ago over here. Not "The God Channel", just "GOD" (that made me laugh). Anyway, they had some American bloke on there "curing" people of cancer. Imagine if those poor people, naive as they are, didn't go to their doctor because they were waiting for this guy or God or whoever to cure them instead! Anyhow, this channel lost its licence to broadcast and was removed from the airwaves pronto.

wow there still fake religious people on tv. They take your money and give a fake cure. Good thing the channel was canceled I'd say.

To me Scientology sounds more like a cult than a religion.
