55 Years ago today October 4,1957, we first met Beaver, Wally, June, and Ward Cleaver and saw the episode "Beaver Gets Spelled". Additionally that was the day Sputnik was launched.

It's funny ... when Beaver was first on, I considerd myself too old for such childish stuff ... it was okay for my little sister (5 years younger), but NOT ME !! So, I seldom watched it.
Now, I love it ! -- Glad it is being run again. Mostly love the humorous stuff between Ward and June, which I probably didn't notice back in the fifties.... It was actually quite well written, contrary to what many folks say nowadays about many early tv shows.... Ward's personality is a riot !!

I wasn't thought of nor was my older sister. My dad was 4 going on 5. My mom was 1. Probably her older brothers & sisters, watch it. Cause, they were much older than her.
On Channel 38 You can still watch Leave it to Beaver.
