I just received my Walton cut out dolls in the mail. It is mint condition, never been used, and I got it off Ebay. I also got the "newspapers" that the children made in school on the Waltons set. I got them on Ebay through Mary McDonough. They should come shortly, and I'm super excited to get them. She spoke of them in her book, and the children from Eight is Enough, and other shows around the lot, contributed to them as well. There is a Christmas and Halloween Edition, and I should get possession of them soon! I find it a little shocking that Mary is listing stuff on eBay.... It bothers me that she wants to get rid of Waltons-related items..... Is she hurting financially? Why would she expose herself on a highly public arena like eBay??

Hey Jeri, I asked Mary if she was sure that she wanted to get rid of personal Walton things, and she said " it is time" The portion of the money is going to Cystic Fibrosis, because her cousin has that disease. I believe she has put things up before, just randomly. The fans on her FB page always ask her to, and she is REALLY great with her fans. I think she does it to be nice.

Some of the things like the scripts, she lists that it is a "copy" of her original one and then she will autograph it for you if you win the bid on it. Plus if it is of other cast members autographs, she gets them to actually sign the copy.
Just make sure you read the description of the item. She lets you know if it is an "original" or a copy with real autograph(s). I have no problem with it being a copy (that way she gets to keep her original) because the autograph(s) are real.

I always wanted a dollhouse when I was a kid....I bought one for one of my little cousins back in 2001 for Christmas, and played with it EXTENSIVELY before I wrapped it up and gave it to her - I have miniatures that I collected back in the late 80's- kitchen table set, various home furnishings, even tiny pots and pans AND A birdcage, cuz I WAS gonna get one but I couldn't settle on a design I liked...Thought about building it, but it seemed like too much "trouble"...I could build a PC, but that whole "insert Tab A into Tab B" thing just made me twitchy.... And at 54 yrs old, if I had one, I'd play with it ALL DAY LONG! To heck with the internet, LOLOL!! I built a doll house years ago one of the wooden kits. I was working at a hobby store and the owner wanted everyone in the store to how to build one so he let me pick one out and take it home. I built the kit added lights painted it put in the furniture came out looking great. He even sold it for $500.00 made $200.00 profit and gave me 1/2
