Just remember that when you search Ebay, you may find a Walton's paper doll book today or it could be weeks, months or even a year or more for one to come up for auction. In the 15 years I have been looking on Ebay....I have only seen them about 5 times but I have not been "actively" looking for them. Just don't give up if you really want one.....be patient & you will find one.
I collect Dr Pepper things......especially if it is tied in with any of the holidays or during the World War II time frame (Dec. 1941 to 1945). I once saw a magazine ad from that time frame & missed the chance to get it.....it took about two more years but finally someone else posted another one & I got it!! I am right now in the process of looking for a Dr Pepper magazine ad from 1943 that at the top of it has different women's heads wearing different hats for the WAC, Navy, etc...Good luck with your search. foreverwaltons

I just received my Walton cut out dolls in the mail. It is mint condition, never been used, and I got it off Ebay. I also got the "newspapers" that the children made in school on the Waltons set. I got them on Ebay through Mary McDonough. They should come shortly, and I'm super excited to get them. She spoke of them in her book, and the children from Eight is Enough, and other shows around the lot, contributed to them as well. There is a Christmas and Halloween Edition, and I should get possession of them soon!

You might find some. I'm at work right now, but I'll be home at midnight, and I'll inbox you the name of the seller. I can't remember the name right now. The one I got is brand new, still shiny, and an uncirculated copy. I paid $ 60.00 . I got really lucky, and I'm sure you will too. Good luck with your search, and I'll give you the name tonight.

Now I think I want a Waltons dollhouse...... Many, many years ago, I had a friend whose husband built a dollhouse for their daughter using the Waltons house as his template..... can you imagine anything more wonderful ?!

I always wanted a dollhouse when I was a kid....I bought one for one of my little cousins back in 2001 for Christmas, and played with it EXTENSIVELY before I wrapped it up and gave it to her -
I have miniatures that I collected back in the late 80's- kitchen table set, various home furnishings, even tiny pots and pans AND A birdcage, cuz I WAS gonna get one but I couldn't settle on a design I liked...Thought about building it, but it seemed like too much "trouble"...I could build a PC, but that whole "insert Tab A into Tab B" thing just made me twitchy....
And at 54 yrs old, if I had one, I'd play with it ALL DAY LONG! To heck with the internet, LOLOL!!

You are only as old as you want to be!! It's funny how as a kid we all yearned for different things. I'm gonna start a new thread about that! Thanks for the idea grtgzu.

Nowadays, many people get into what is now called "miniatures" ..... It gets very pricey collecting for a whole doll house, so some folks just tackle one room, with all the trimmings..... a pretty good hobby, I think.....
