Ryan- Since you seem to be a good source of information on the reunions I was hoping you could answer a few questions. Is the dinner a buffet, do they assign seats, do they serve wine, beer or the recipe! Do they randomly seat the actors at tables? My friends and I will be attending the Calif. dinner and they were asking me what it might be like. Thanks

Thanks The past two years I've attended, they have done the dinner Buffet style with an incredible amount of food & desserts to choose from. Carolyn randomly assigns seating, but has mentioned she's going to try and seat Forum members with other forum members and possibly a cast member or two at each table, to add some excitement to the Evening! There was no Wine, Beer or Recipe served at the past two reunions in Lynchburg, VA, but the hotel had a seperate bar where reunion quests could purchase drinks, however I'm not sure if they allowed the drinks into the reunion dining hall area. But I would imagine this hotel for Carolyn's this year will have a bar too. Hope that helps! if ya have any other questions, feel free to let me know! ;D RYAN-J

I have received a few questions regarding the Saturday event and want to offer a little more information about the evening. The theater has reserved seating and the seats are assigned in the order they are purchased. Therefore, the earlier you buy your tickets, the better your seats will be. Ticket prices begin at only $60.00 for balcony. There is also seating in the Loge for $80.00. Orchestra (floor level) seating is $125.00. The other option is the VIP tickets which give premium seating and include the After Party / Dinner with the cast and guest stars. There are currently tickets available in all categories, although there are not many VIP tickets left. Regarding the format of the program, the cast , Mr. Earl Hamner, Jr., and many of the writers, directors, and producers of the show will be in attendance for the live event. They will be honored by celebrities who were guests on the show, as well as by celebrity friends from other classic television shows. Please see the "Honored Guests" page and the "Special Guests" page at www.waltons40th.com for an updated list of attendees. It is certain to be a very special evening celebrating one of America's favorite television families and the creative team that contributed so much to the show. A few of you have asked about the VIP After Party / Dinner. It will be held immediately following the program at the Ebell. There will be food stations set up. Those who want to sit at a table and have a meal can do so, and those who choose to mingle and perhaps have a "special" drink from the cash bar can do so. The room is large and has plenty of room to mingle and plenty of furniture to sit and relax. This is also a time the cast, crew, and special guests will get to catch up and visit.

Hi Carolyn,
Thank you for your kind words and especially for your support. You and Vicky both know the time and effort that goes into organizing such events. I am thrilled that we can work together in bringing what I'm sure will be a once in a lifetime weekend for the cast and fans alike. I'm looking forward to the 28th & 29th being a memorable two days.
Ray
