Watched this show again today on Hallmark. Still one of my favorites. When Zeb and Mrs. Dunbar are telling 'stories' at the boarding house and Esther is 'fuming' it cracks me up every time! When John comforts Olivia in the end when she's crying and says she doesn't think she can pick herself up anymore - I think it's one of the most tender moments of the series.

I really enjoy "The Burnout" also.
Nobody can fume and bluster like Grandma.

I think this episode has been on all 3 networks lately. All the channels must be at the same point in the seasons. The Big Brother was just on GMC and it will be on INSP and Hallmark on Friday.

Part two was on INSP at 12 and then Part 1 was the last of the three episodes on Hallmark so Part 2 will be on Friday. Also a Waltons Family Marathon Sunday. Go Waltons! Waltonsportwriter

I think the Burn out is probably one of the all time best in my opinion. I most especially felt so sorry for Elizabth. It also broke my heart when Livvy had to split up her children. Jason for sure got the best deal in all staying with The Baldwins.... Breakfast in bed, access to their car and The Judges clothes!!!

The show had so many points of interest, and it involved EVERYONE. It is a jewel with many prisms

Jason also had a bathroom in his bedroom. That's a rarity back then...

All the channels must be at the same point in the seasons ====================================================
yeah, I noticed that 2. I think all 3 are in the john-boy years. which are the best imo
I think we got season 2 beginning monday, and season 4 and 5 playing on the other 2. it's better than the last 2 seasons being on all 3 at the same time.

I'm still amazed that house didn't burn all the way to the ground and ashes and the way they were able to put that house back together other than Hollywood of course lol Wow. Do you think the house would have been rebuilt that great in real life especially in those times the cost what was insurance like back then? waltonsportwriter Some good episodes Sunday on GMC I want to tape the Celebration and Prophecy especially.

I don't think anybody had any insurance of any kind back then and I think John John boy and grandpa could have rebuilt the house after they built it in the first place.

They had all the "free" materials and labor they needed right there.....

You're right...they had all the free materials and labor there. Imagine what it would cost to pay someone to build this house from the ground up. Yikes!
