Although this appeared on Facebook this morning---I would have heard about it earlier had there not been some hacking incidents which Teresa Tomeo described on her radio program this morning which may have slowed down my logging into my computer---we now have word that Ernest Borgnine about whom we posted earlier this sping on the Fourm, has died at the age of 95/ Ernest Borgnine. 1917-2012
Rest in Peace Ernest
Goodnight!

He was a good actor. I am not really fan of Mchale's Navy, but he was great in a lot of movies. I love that movie "Marty". I think he won the oscar for that. He could play bad guys and good guys equally well.

R.I.P. Mr. Borgnine. By the account of many, you were a class act.
For anyone who hasn't seen "Marty" you should check it out. Wonderful movie. Absolutely.

I remember Ernest Borgnine from so many movies and tv shows. Always admired him..... Unfortunately, I did not see him in his Oscar-winning role "Marty." Had only seen the tv playhouse showing of the play with Rod Steiger in the part. Steiger was excellent in the role, too.

I remember Ernest Borgnine from the Original Posideon Adventure and many other movies. He was also a regular in my hometown Circus Parade in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Best wishes waltonsportwriter

That was a wonderful episode (maybe my favorite) of Little House.
I know he was 95 but I can't believe he's gone just yet...
