To answer wmfans question, Mariclaire Costello played the part of Miss Hunter/Mrs Fordwick. I think she has had guest appearances in other shows but I do not know which ones. The most reliable source for such infor is still imdb.com Mariclaire Costello was on an episode of Little House on the Prairie. I just watched it tonight, but I don't know what the name of the episode was. It was about a blind girl who did paintings, and her birth mother located her. Mariclaire Costello played her adoptive mother.

I just looked her up online and good and interesting to learn about the actress that played Miss Hunter, she is alive and well and coming to the reunion along with the other surviving characters. If they ever come to Texas the Waltons near where I live I would attend if it wasnt too costly. Otherwise I just enjoy the show and talking with you wonderful fans. Best wishes and goodnight. waltonsportwriter

Here's a little bonus for the forum. I compiled this grid as part of the site, to check the cast lists etc. It is a *big* chart which lists all the recurring Waltons characters (150ish of them) against which episodes they appeared in. So you can easily find out first, last, number of eps for each character etc. Colour-coded by season. U means the appearance went uncredited on the titles; C means the person was credited by wasn't actually in the episode (yes, it happens sometimes). waltons.steve-p.org/waltonsmatrix.gif(right-click, save as on the link).
