I believe today was payday for you!! I know you were waiting on it to be able to purchase your VIP ticket. Just hoping you were able to purchase the ticket(s) to the 9/29/12 Kami's Walton's 40th Anniversary Fundraiser. As you know they have 100 of them for purchase. Last Wednesday (5/30) when I bought my two....I believe only 3 others had been bought. It said the number 5 when I bought mine. If you have purchased yours, do you remember a number beside it? Just wondering how many more have been purchased this past week. I just want to be "excited" along with you that you were able to purchase yours also! Look forward to meeting you at the reunions! ;D

Nooo I had my weeks mixed up - it's NEXT Wednesday! OMGosh I'll chew all my nails off till then LOL. Pure torture.
I was back and forth on the VIP thing once Richard cancelled but it'll still be a once-in-a-lifetime event. When will I be in California again and be able to go to an event like that? I'm thinking never.

Bummer!! Another week of waiting....I was sitting on eggshells waiting to see if my husband & I were able to be two of the 200 for the supper reunion on 9/28.
When they had the other Walton's Fan get together in California a few years ago, I wanted to go soooo bad. But there was no way I could. Now not only are they having another one in California but then the very next night they are having this one in Los Angeles.
It truly is a once in a lifetime event if you are a true fan of the Waltons and are able to attend. This will be the only time in my life that I ever expect to be in California & I have done some sacrifices to be able to attend. Now I just have to keep my fingers crossed that something doesn't happen to my husband, kids, myself, etc....before then.
It has been 40 years since they went off the air. Mr. Hamner, Mr. Waite, Mr. Conley, Mr. Woodward, Mrs. Hamilton are all in their eighties. Miss Learned, Miss Edwards, Mr. Williams, etc...are all in their seventies. And most important when will this many of the cast & guest stars ever been assembled together again......NEVER!!!!
There is nearly 4 months until this happens.....so you never know Mr. Thomas may be able to make it. All the main cast will be there except for him so I truly wish that if his "play" is still on that he realizes just how special this is and let his understudy do the part while he attends this. Surely after all of these years he is not "living paycheck to paycheck" but then again I do not know his personal finances. And from a career stand point, the industry should be able to see how "special" this get together is.
Next week if you still decide to purchase a VIP ticket....just for curiousity see what number they say you are. I have my fingers crossed for you too! Good Luck!

I wish with all my heart his understudy could fill in for just that one night!
My brother checked earlier for me - there are about 52 left.

My youngest sister was a huge New Kids fan! She adorded Jordan!! Back in the 90's when they were "hot" I took her to a concert, it was the time of her life. I bought her a tour jacket, Tees, her bedroom was everything NKOTB! She still has most of her collection.
