I read somewhere in the past that someone was inquiring about what the Baldwin ladies drove for a car. They drove at least two different ones during the series. One person thought he saw a Studebaker emblem on one, but wasn't sure. The other one was a Franklin. (The one with the bold vertical bars in the radiator.)

I think that car was used in earlier episodes before Ike and Corabeth got the 38 Ford. Not really sure just what that one is. Probably could check on Google and find out.

There's an exhaustive listing of all cars used in The Waltons online -- just Google "Cars in the Waltons" .... then click on the site IMCDb.org.....
It also lists the Season and Episode for each car..... so, for instance, you can learn the car model for the Baldwin Sisters in each episode.... I think it said both the Franklin and the Studebaker were 1925 models.....

I didn't notice the panel truck that Curt and Mary Ellen had, anywhere on that website. I'm almost sure that it was a Ford Model B. Fairly rare vehicle.

I learned how to drive in an old pickup that looked like some of these. Had to push a button and pull out the choke to get 'er going!

Sorry about that. I put the thing about how to get my Studebaker pickup started, in the wrong thread. Hadn't completely woke up yet I guess this morning. It was suppose to be in this one.
