I wish They Had Done One More 80's Reunion Movie

I wish they had done one more movie in the 80's . My idea would be set at Christmas time and they are waiting for John to come home from Arizona for Christmas. He is late and they are reminiscing about The Homecoming and other Christmases while decorating the tree, preparing, the Christmas dinner and waiting for John's arrival. He finally arrives and explains that the train was running late and goes on to explain that he has brought a surprise for the family and in walks Olivia who has recovered and has been released from the sanitorium.

That would have been a great way to wrap up the entire story. It would have been extra special if the entire surviving cast at the time, even Ellen Corby would have been there.
