Thanks, Ned -- I dearly hope it's televised..... Note to entire Forum -- please let us know if you discover info about televised coverage. THANKS! I wonder if Richard is doing a reading....

Not sure if it will be televised, but they always release a DVD and CD, at least they have for the last 19 years. This is the 20th anniversary of their Christmas program at Tabernacle Square. I think my favorite one so far was in 2001 with Angela Lansbury. She was perfect to give hope just a few months after 9/11.

The Christmas Show featuring outstanding music plus Richard Thomas's storytelling was fabulous. This last week Me TV had two episodes, "The Townie" and "The Odessey" featuring an up and coming actress soon to be a superstar and an Academy Award winner, Sissy Spacek. Sissy didn't fail us. Her acting was superb! But let me tell you, Richard held his own when the two of them got in heated discussions. No question in my mind, he was from the start and still is 48 years later a great actor. If someone is a little apprehensive about his performance on the Waltons, they should remember who he is a reflection of...Someone named Earl Hamner.
