this is great! I like it a whole lot better... every other forum I fiddle around with has this format, and proboards has been very good to them. They always keep everyone updated on what's going on, what might change with the board. Brenda, you did a great job!

:)I am glad to say I heard the Earl Hamner radio interview which took
place the day after Mother's Day last year. He did very well, including the mention of Denver Pyle who played the part of Boone Walton(?)The cousin
who was found dead late one night in the autumn of 1943 carrying some
moonshine! The one problem was that initially Earl thought he meant
Gomer Pyle!!! He described how Richard Thomas as John Boy stole the
scene when he appeared on the patio(I think you call them the porch)
when Jason learned that Seth(Ronny Howard)was going to die of
leukemia. He closed on a sadder note indicating that there would not
be another Walton TV reunion because there is not enough interest in
having one---well that is how CBS acts !

When I first stated joining forums, I had no clue what I was doing either, So don't feel bad.  I'm currently on 6 different forums now, and after a while you get the hang of it pretty quick!! ;D The features on this one are just like my other forums!! ;D RYAN J.  |

Thanks for this forum and the opportunity it brings for fans of television's greatest drama / family show to meet each other when otherwise it would have been impossible.

Yes, Brenda- well done! I agree with the person who said they found themselves spending more time here. Come to think of it, I haven't even visited my imdb forums since this one started! Don't think I'll go back to them either!
edit: by the way, for you who don't already know, that's NOT me on my avatar. It's Kristy McNichol, an actress from ANOTHER famous 70's show. I didn't pick a Walton because I just can't choose a favorite- I love them all!
