Dear Waltonfans, the last weeks I created my own webpage with pictures and the videos from our visit in USA ( and in Schuyler, Walton Mountain Museum ) in May and June this year. If you are interested in watching a lot of pictures from the Museum so please join my webpage www.rockfish-river.com . I would be happy if you leave a message in the guestbook. Hope you enjoy it. I am working on a translation for the travel report about the museum but it will take a while to finish it. Tomorrow I have to go to hospital for two or three weeks so I cannot join the forum for a while. Hope to be back soon. Dagmar

Thank you so much for sharing!
I so enjoyed seeing the Museum and sites through your camera lens! What a joy for those of us who have not been - but dream of it! God bless you for taking the time to share your journey with us!!! I so loved all the pictures - from the Radio, to the dollhouse replica, and that amazing gift shop and Wow, the video was so neat, too! It's all so beautiful! Thank you for taking the time to share!

I loved them. Looking at Waltons Mountain Picture No. 3 makes me wonder why anyone would ever want to leave.

Dear Annenina, Drewauntie and Kelvin, dear Waltonfriends,
thanks a lot for joining my new page. I am glad you liked it.
In hospital I finished the translation of our travel report. Now everybody is able to read about the museum, Schuyler, the Blue Ridge Parkway and more if they like. I know my report will not be perfect and I ask you to contact me if you find some (big) mistakes in it.
I am grateful for any help I get.
Dagmar

Hey dagmargermany, mistakes are port of all of us, you reported what YOU saw, that's what makes it so human, so personal. I'll never get, as I said, to those parts, so to look and learn is wonderful. Thanks

Dear Waltonfans, something new on my website www.rockfish-river.com. From the 1st of December until Christmas I have a little Adventscalender (typical german or maybe europaen tradition) on my webpage. Everyday a little surprise. And you can send your Christmas greetings with our E-cards. Unfortunatly we still have only few of them. But we are working on it. Join in and see. I wish all of you a happy Advent season. Dagmar

Hi Dagmar, Thank you for posting an Advent Calendar. It is also a Canadian (probably because it's also British) tradition, and my children had one every year while they were growing up. Now I am starting the same tradition with my young grandchildren by sending them one each year. Sue

Hello Sue, it is good to hear that the Advent Calendar is known in Canada also. I love the one with no chocolate in it . Only litte pictures with christmas trees, Santa Claus, snowy houses, candles, angels and and and ...
Happy advent season for all !

I agree about the chocolate ones, Dagmar. I get the ones with a winter scene on the front and Christmas-related pictures behind the doors. But those are getting quite hard to find, at least where I live.
