John-Boy, Jason, Mary Ellen, Erin, Ben, Jim-Bob, or Elizabeth??
I love them all but my choice is Erin!! I loved watching her go through her growing pains & loved her feistiness when she was working during the WWII episodes!!!

Hard to choose really. I adore John Boy as the older brother. So sensitive and caring, but really a lot was expected of him being the oldest. I love Jason because of his music. Poor Daddy must have had a hard time thinking that his two eldest children were going into the arts! It would have been very hard for him to understand. Thank goodness Ben decided to follow his Daddy's footsteps. And I love Erin as well. So glad she finally found her place in the world. She took a while to get there, but was very successful in the end.

Jason!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! without any doubt. I would lov e to have been as talented as he was. Although he probably had frustrations at being the secon d eldest he was just a big brother that Ben and Jim Bob could lookm up too.

JimBob because his attitude towards life, especially as a teenager, is very similar to what one of my sons (the middle one) was like as a boy and a teenager.

Mine will be Elizabeth Cause, she's the youngest, in her family, just like me. See her growing up as a little girl, into a young lady.

John Boy of course, and Ben and Elizabeth. Jason was musically talented but kinda boring.

Well, good ole Jim-Bob of course. We were very much alike. But after meeting Erin at last years reunion and seeing her real life personality, a person can't help but love her.

Hey waltonsfan99,
That is the same way I was and still are. The youngest and still tinker with old cars, radios and whatever. Ole Jim-Bob seemed to be so kind hearted and I think I am the same way. Not everybody would agree with that but I try to be.

I appreciated Jim Bob's dry sense of humor. In Season 6's The Revelation, most of the Waltons are sitting on the front porch, including John Boy and his fiancee Daisy. Jim Bob asks Daddy Walton: "Are you and John Boy going to have one of those man to man talks?" (about the marriage). LOL. It cracks me up to see Jim Bob teasing about the Waltons' earnestness.
