The Waltons Season 7 Episode “The Changeling” September 30th, 2007 by unkle lancifer · No Comments Oh my God! How rude could this person get! Did you notice the author didn't even have the guts to leave an area for a responds? Dianne

I did. It is by far the worst thing I have ever read, its just an excuse to bash "The Waltons". When I found it on IMDB, I was outraged!

It is unbelievable the disgusting garbage and filth that is on the internet. This vulgar and obscene website should be eliminated!

I personally believe that episodes like "the Ghost Story", "The Changling", and others such as those should be the things eliminated.
They just make the show seem like fantasy. Like Ben said in his letter, "fake".
And believe me, I'm a Walton's fan with the rest of ya'.

I understand your point of view, but there are things that can't be explained going on.

I happen to enjoy the Internet Movie Database. You take the good of the internet, with the bad. There have been times when on the message boards of the internet movie database where I have been plenty disgusted. I actually bothered to get into an argument with someone who wanted to say that Mr. Barrie, the author of Peter Pan, molested the boys he modeled his famous book Peter Pan after. I finally beat that debate on into the ground, and he left the imdb.
Feel sorry for those who would take time out to viciously pick on good shows, good books, and good people. I saw that the person on there even took time out to make fun of Little House! I don't mind someone constructively breaking down what they don't like about an episode, but there's no need in anyway, to go as far as that person obviously did in that article.
Even though I'll admit the episode was a tad on the silly side, I've heard about polterguiests before. I'm sorry I may not be spelling that right. You just got to treat everything with a healthy dose of skepticisim.

Any time something good comes on people try to ridicule it. They even did it with Snow White in which they said the dwarfs fell in love with her and tried to keep the Prince from approaching the cottage where her casket lay. The best thing is to ignore such stuff.

I've been to the messageboards on the IMDB and many of them are filth (not all, mind you), but many are. People don't have anything better to do than to bash decent TV shows (like the article above). That person doesn't know what they're talking about. Yes, that episode was different, but I still liked Jason's story in it (about him being on the radio show and giving advice to others). -Kristi
