Thankfully Michael Learned quit years ago.
It was not such an expensive habit at that time. However, now you have to earn a lot of money to pay for that habit, and it will continue to go up.
I enjoyed seeing the interacion between Will and Ellen out of character as Grandpa and Grandma. Interesting.

Between 1:18 and 1:20 of the youtube click. It`s in her mouth. Saw it. Funny how people could smoke in public places and events. Didn't think much of it then but it is such a dirty, smelly, unhealthy, and expensive habit! They didn't know then what they know now about the dangers of second hand smoke.

It seems like just yesterday but I guess it was a few years ago.

When I was in high school, starting at the age of 16 if one of your parents signed a consent form you could smoke outside in the yard surrounding the Home Economics and Ag buildings. The teachers could smoke in the teacher's lounge (us teacher assistants made copies in that room with a mimeograph machine and that highly flammable and smelly fluid that you put in the machine). My bus driver/History teacher always had an unlit cigar in his mouth.

We smoked in the yard at HS, no permission slip required. I feel like a degenerate when I look back!
