Hay fellow Walton’s Fans,
Not sure how many of you got an email from Mary McDonough…but I’m posting a request below:
Hey, was wondering if you could do me a favor. I am writing a book and the agents have asked if people are interested and if we could to get letters of interest in it to show publishers.
Would you be and could you write a few lines for me? Only if you really are, of course.
It's about growing up on the show, my memories, the confusing body image issue things I went through and how I came out the other side Inspirational, memoir type of thing.
Maybe where you're from and your interest in the show and book?

I say we ‘bust a move’ and send her as many letters as we can. I have enclosed her email address and I just plan to email one back to her as a letter ‘To Whom It May Concern’ as our very own ‘Will’ from the forum has suggested. As Elizabeth once said. “That’s four down, two to go…plus wives, husbands, children and live stalk…” from A Walton’s Thanksgiving Reunion. Let’s get them all to pitch in and help Mary…Lord knows she’s out there doing what she can for everyone else…let’s join in the fight and help her as best we can.
You might want to add as a subject line letter to Publisher. I’m sure Mary gets a lot of email and this will help her find our letters a lot easier. You go Mary!

Maybe we should add a thread that says "Everything I have always wanted to say to a Walton but was afraid to.' We might have Walton's coming out the woodwork. Great Job! I'm going to have both my children write letters as well, they love the Walton's as much as I do and it would help out our little Mary. Dianne |
