Don't know the title - but the one where John has the high-school reunion and forgets how to spin the coin single-handed. I think it's "The Prophecy". I think that's one of my favorites as well. I've got so many that I can't remember which is which, but for sure I don't know the names of the shows. I absolutely love the ones that have a simple plot....usually the family having their little problems. I didn't care for the far-fetched ones, like the gypsys, (that wasn't realistic) the circus performers, the artist that came back from overseas to stay in his family's vacant home and Erin fell for him. I think that Ike and Cora Beth really added to the show as well.

Actually after watching The Inferno for the first time now, I have to say that is the best!

I have to disagree, Zedxclon. In my opinion, that episode seemed to be very unrealistic. John-Boy being at the Hindenburg explosion just did't seem to be sensible or believable. The green screen footage was awful as well.

While I agree that the green screen footage was indeed awful, I think it was a very good episode. I don't mind that the fact that it is slightly unlikly he would have been at the hidenburg disaster as I enjoy the overall story, but oh well everyone has an oppinune!

I watched one last night that was really good. Livy went to work at the seamstress shop. It was fun to watch her eat in the cafe with the shop owner. You know what really bugs me about the Waltons...and I see it all the time....they were always broke and down on their luck!! Contracts always fell through, someone got sick, couldn't work, etc.. Everytime something like that happens and the family gets the shaft, I say to myself, 'NOT AGAIN!!' LOL!

The best episodes for me are the ones that are emotional and seem really life-changing for the family. The one with the book burning and John Boy jumps in and takes a book out of the fire and starts reading a book written in German which turns out to be the Bible. Also the episdoe where John Boy leaves Waltons Mountain. And who could ever forget the last episode of Will Geer and Ellen Corby together in Grandma Comes Home.

There are so many but if I had to choose just 1 it might be:The Literary Man. Sometimes when I get so involved with my work and city life and other things I thing about the man that came into their lives - I believe his name was A.J. Covington.
