I saw Lynn Hamilton (Verdie) in an episode of Quincy M.E. this morning. She was playing a midwife charged with murder. Her character's name was Olivia, lol.
Also this morning, saw Richard Gilligan (Jonesy) in an episode of Murder She Wrote. Just saw him while channel surfing and didn't watch the episode.
On another episode of Quincy M.E. a week or so ago, I saw Mary Jackson (Miss Emily Baldwin).
In this same episode of Quincy, and unrelated to the Waltons, there was an actor with a bit part that looked familiar. I couldn't place who it was so looked on IMDB. It turned out to be David Ruprecht, who was the host of the 1990's game show Supermarket Sweep. I had never seen him on anything else before but Supermarket Sweep. I was surprised to see that he had a total of 61 acting credits.

I'm watching Petticoat Junction, Last Chance Farm S1 Ep 20 and spotted The Waltons Zulika Dunbar, Pearl Shear. She played Mrs Gertrude Hawley. As soon as I heard her voice I knew who she was.

^ Only speaking roles are usually credited, especially in television productions.

I saw an episode of The Outer Limits a couple days ago and Richard Thomas was in it. The episode was called The Final Appeal (Season 6 Episode 21 from 2000). The part with Richard was actually a flashback from an episode called The New Breed (Season 1 Episode 14 from 1995). I really never watched The Outer Limits during it's original run. When I see it on TV now, I will watch it a little but never watch the whole episode. I did watch a good amount of this episode, The Final Appeal. It was a two hour long airing and I came in about half way through. So I didn't know exactly what was going on, although it seemed like a pretty interesting story. What caught my eye and made me stay to watch longer was the cast of the episode. It was quite impressive and back in 2000 the casting department must have been ecstatic with who they got to be in the episode. Here are a few of the big names that were in it... Charlton Heston Hal Holbrook Robert Loggia Cicely Tyson Swoosie Kurtz Kelly McGillis Amanda Plummer Michael Moriarty and actors in flashback scenes... Richard Thomas Melissa Gilbert Beau Bridges Kevin Nealon Ronny Cox Robert Hays Tom Cavanagh Maria Conchita Alonso and sharing writing credit... George R.R. Martin I wonder if they made a big deal back in 2000 in advertising this episode with the huge star power they assembled. Information on the episode from IMDB... www.imdb.com/title/tt0667891/?ref_=ttep_ep21

Hey Easton, I deleted my post then reposted it because I looked at the full listing of credits on IMDB and discovered I was incorrect. Richard was indeed credited. They list his name and then in parenthesis it says (Archive Footage). For those wondering what is going on. Easton responded to my post but then I deleted it because I gave wrong information about Richard not being credited in the 2000 episode. As I note above, he did receive credit for the flashback scene.

^ Thanks, but not a problem. I just assumed that Richard had a non-speaking part.

Ronnie Claire Edwards appears in the 1990 episode of "In the heat of the night" where she plays the school principal and an 11 year old boy accuses one of the most popular teachers of molestation. The boy eventually recants his story but Ms Edwards always believes the teacher is guilty. Her Clarabeth character all the way.

Its one of the movies after the series had ended. That makes sense. Since the next episode that aired immediately after was the pilot episode. It was on COZI TV network.

I pretty much watch the two episodes of Emergency every day on Cozi.
Although, I am mad they moved it to 8am and 9am. I'm not up in time some days.
They used to play two episodes every day later in the day. I hate when they move the schedule around or drop shows and start showing others. I miss Highway to Heaven every afternoon.

Another Walton siting. It was a 1961 Twilight Zone Called "The Hunt" and it wasn't John-boy shooting a bear but an old guy going racoon hunting with his dog. The dog chases a racoon into a pond and the old guy jumps in to save the dog. Next scene the old guy is witnessing the dog and his funeral. It didn't remind me of the Waltons but the director was a guy named Earl Hamner.
