Thanks Brenda Realised (remembered) who Sian portrayed not long after I sent the post but I was off to bed. Couldn't remember Kip part though so thanks. Getting a bit rusty again. We in the UK have had no WALTONS on TV for quite some time

I recently watched a Columbo episode on COZI tv and Sian Barbara Allan (Jenny on the "Love Story") played a leading part which couldn't have been any different from her rather uplifting character in the Waltons. She eventually gets murdered for blackmailing, Although both of her parts in Columbo and the Waltons were in 1973 she seemed much older (probably close to her real age) in Columbo. On a previous post (Patsy Bremmer forum), I mentioned that the first Patsy Bremmer (Debbie Gunn) was my kids' babysitter. She lived only 3 blocks away. Coincidentally, I saw Ike Godsey at the local church on more than one occaision. It makes me wonder if Ike and Patsy knew they were neighbors in real life. In 1975, when I lived in Virginia where I watched the Waltons in real time, my Mother and son and I took a trip to Schuyler, located a couple hours away, to observe what the Hamner home town looked like. It was located well off the beaten path and the road through it seemed to have been built just because of the town's existence. A nice woman at the local Post Office gave me directions to the Hamner house where, she said, the mother and youngest son still lived. I drove by and debated whether to knock on the door but chickened out and drove away.

Just earlier tonight, Mary Jackson was in a ME-TV rerun of Columbo, "Try and Catch Me" from 1977. She played a maid in the employ of Ruth Gordon, who was cast as a mystery novelist who committed a murder herself. Watch for that one!

Had two sightings today... Mary Jackson (Emily Baldwin) in an episode of Highway to Heaven. Deirdre Lenihan (Daisy Garner) in an episode of Emergency!. I always thought Daisy was cute. She looked especially cute in her paramedic uniform and hat. www.t2buck.com/images/7311dl.jpg

Hi Gia
To the best of my knowledge Michael and Tom are still alive. Michael is 81 and I think Tom is 82
There are members on the forum who will know more about this than myself though.
Welcome to the forum.
I can not remember seeing you on the WELCOME section. If you did then my apologies. If you did not then it is a good way to introduce yourself. Purely optional
