That is great,Ryan!!!! David,just like the rest of the cast,is a class act. I received a Christmas card today from Lynn Hamilton (Verdie) wishing me Merry Christmas and all the best in 2011. Lynn and I exchange Christmas cards every year.

Hi Ryan, you lucky man. Congratulation !!! I am still waiting for David Harper´s reply. I did the same like you - Carolyn forwarded my letter to David Harper also. Now I am full of hope that he will answer my request also. The way to Germany is a little bit longer ... Wish me luck !

Haha, Wow! This was a surprise!  Just received my response back from Actress Judy Norton that I sent in the fall of 2008! I mailed a request off to her and Co-star Jon Walmsley on the same day via the president of the Waltons fan club and she promised she’d do her best to pass them on to them. Jon responded after 53 days, but I never heard back from Judy. So in October 2009 a friend of mine (Gina) went to meet Judy after a play and kindly offered to get my custom items signed if I sent them. My friend was successful and I sort of forgot about my TTM request to Judy thinking it either never reached her or she had misplaced it.  Then out of the blue, 875 days later it shows up today!! Judy signed both of my custom 4x6 photos (Just like the ones I had sent to my friend in 2009 & got signed) and also my 4x6 custom index card!! She even filled out the Q&A card I sent and I chuckled at her last answer when I asked if she had any goals she’d like to accomplish in 2009 and she replied “Oops” seeing as it had been quite a while since I sent my request to her. LOL. ;D She sent along a typed & signed letter apologizing for the delay and giving me links to her Facebook page, which I currently follow already!!  When I send custom photos I include a small card telling them if their interested in getting copies for their own personal use to send me an email and Judy wrote a small note on the back of it saying she loved the cards and provided me with an email address where I can send her copies of them!! ;D So all in all, extremely happy that I finally heard back and it was definitely worth the wait for sure! Yes Ryan, I sent the mail via Carolyn. And the book of Richard Thomas which I bought at the auction was in the mail also. I really hope it is not gone lost. Eric Scott´s response was in my mail when I came home from my trip last fall. This was such a great surprise for me. He must have answered immediately.

I'm quite sure Jon and Richard both got their requests. I do know that Jon is currently touring with his band and has been quite busy this past year and last. Richard is a busy man himself, so their probably waiting till things slow down with their schedules before tackling the fanmail. Crossing my fingers for you though!! Can't wait to see you get them back!! Was the book you sent Richard the one with the Poems in it?? RYAN J. |
