A couple of people have contacted me about their missing keeper images. I have noticed that some images are missing as well. This is not a problem with the forum, and it is not something I can fix since I have no control over it.
I will try to explain how the images show up in your signature for those who don't know. Someone creates a keeper image on their computer. That image must be uploaded to the internet on some site that stores images, such as photobucket, picasa, or even personal websites. Then the URL to that image is placed in your signature using a code that will make the image to show up. The image is not really on this forum. It's on that photo storage site. The code just makes it look like it is on the forum.
Some of the images were made by me. Some were made by other people, then sent to me to upload and place in your signature. If I am the one who made your image or uploaded your image, then I can fix the problem because I have access to those images.
If someone else made your image and uploaded it to their site, then I don't have access to it. You will need to contact that person. The most recent missing images seem to be the ones stored on Marilyn's website. I don't know what happened to them, but she is the one who will have to fix the problem.
I am one of those affected. What I tried to do is google my user name with "Walton's keeper" and my keeper showed up in images, smaller version. I copied the image and added it to my flickr account and copied the link to my signature and it's back. Temporary problem solved for now. I will keep it until Marilyn's is fixed.
You can try and search for yours on google images the same way.

Right click on the image and then click view. The url for the image will then be up in the address bar on your browser. You copy and paste that wherever it needs to go in order to show up in your posts here.

I disappeared to -- but I'm back again. Reminds me of a song I once heard and still admire. 'I once was lost -- but now I be found' ---- incidentally --- this song is better appreciated swaying a little while singing it.
