I talked with her last weekend. She lost a neighbor who was like a grandfather to her. She was feeling sad about the loss and said she would get back on the forum when she felt a bit better.

Yes Marge said the same thing to me in a message here. She will be back when she feels better.

I'm so sorry for Marge's loss. Hugs to you, Marge. As Grandma Walton would say, "You're all acting like death is the end. It just may be the beginning."

Thank you, everyone for your thoughtfulness. Loss is never easy. Mama was Spring of 2011, my great aunt ( second mother figure and matron of honor ) was Spring of 2012, our best friend John ( my brother from another mother ) was Spring of 2013, Mama's best friend ( Aunt Nancy ) followed, Tom's godmother was Spring of 2014, neighbor and adopted Grandpa was Spring 2015. Odd thing is they all passed at the same time of year within the same week, some on the same day, just different year consecutively. These were all people who impacted my life growing up to present, greatly. For those of you who don't know, I have a wonderful family in my husbands family. Those of you who have met my Thomas know what he is like. His family and their spouses and children ( grown adults ) are just like him. I don't know what I did to deserve such a loving family. I don't have anyone blood related to me around anymore. Holidays and anniversaries of passings ( especially when they all fall at the same time ) can be overwhelming. I also am battling PTSD. I am blessed with many good people in my life. And John ( our dear friend who passed at 56 in 2013 and who loved the Beatles ) would be pleased to hear me say, "I'll get by with a little help from my friends ". I love you all. I thank God for each of you everyday and twice on Sunday. I am not leaving the forum. You all mean too much to me. I could not walk away from all of you. God bless you all.

Goodbyes are so hard. You're never really ready to let go. You can try to appease yourself with the fact they lived a long, full life - but it's still hard. Love you Margie.

You're absolutely right Nicolle. Strang how the losses have all been around Easter. I guess in Someones Infinite Wisdom I'm am being reassured that they all are in Heaven. Imagine them all up there together for Easter. I bet it will be quite the bash! Kind of like when us Walton fans gather either on the forum or in person! Hmm....if Heavens like that, I know we'll all be having as the Waltons say, " A real wing-ding !" Love you too Sweetie.
