I have Jerijet on my mind. I was just watching PBS. The show was "John Sebastian Presents: Folk Rewind. A celebration of the 1960's folk-music boom, featuring archival footage of the era's top performers."
They had Judy Collins and Pete Seeger singing "Turn! Turn! Turn!"
Rod McKuen singing "Seasons in the Sun."
Trini Lopez singing "If I Had a Hammer."
Peter, Paul & Mary singing "Lemon Tree."
Woody Guthrie, Arlo Guthrie, Kingston Trio, Joan Baez, Janis Ian, Bobby Darin, etc.
Jerijet loved folk music and every time I hear mention of Rod McKuen, Pete Seeger or Woody Guthrie I think of her.
While I was watching it, I was wondering if Jerijet was too. Sure wish I knew why she has been off the forum for three months now.

I think of her often. Sometimes I am reading an older post and there she is. Hope she is okay.

Yes, when I'm reading old posts, I can always recognize those by Jeri Jet without even looking at the name. I hope she can and will return to the forum.

Me three! Can you believe this thread has been read 2,309 times?!? Hard to believe that she hasn't been on the forum for four months now. Jeri - I wish we knew what happened to you.

I wonder about her often, and I hope so much that she is ok. If she doesn't want to join us on the forum, that's one thing, but if it's because she is ill or something....that's what worries me.
.....and I miss her too!

Since no one here seems to know JeriJet's real name, I don't see how we could ever find her. I, like others, have tried searching the Internet under that pseudonym, but never had any luck finding useful clues. Since she was such a private person, friends/relatives who might be assisting possibly aren't aware of her passion for The Waltons, or even of the existence of this Forum. JeriJet certainly had an impact on all of us here, as evidenced by the continuing concern shown on this Thread. We know a little of her story, but not the ending. I pray that it was, or will be, a happy and peaceful one.

(I am guessing but don't know for sure) I can't share it with the board because I feel it would break a trust and a confidence. I have looked up that name and there exists such a person living near NYC, similar age. Not much else could I find over the internet with that name. I don't want to sound creepy but I have also looked up obituaries with that first & last name (or even just last name) and have found nothing. I also sent her an e-mail in December of last year (when she went missing) and January of this year. I have not received a reply. Like everyone else here, I hope she comes back.

I pray that it was, or will be, a happy and peaceful one. I know the name of one of her friends, a somewhat well-known person. I even found that person on Linked In, but there was no cohesive message I could put together that didn't make me sound like a nut. I also don't know her real name, which would have made me really sound like a nut! I still believe her computer just died and she hasn't been motivated to fix or replace it. I hope that's all it is. Frank, since you know her real name, if you want, I will PM you her friend's name if you want to try to reach out to her friend.

I would place Jeri in the category of those who have a "stubborn attachment to dial-up"
