"WONDERFUL NEWS! MICHAEL LEARNED MAKES COMMITMENT! I just got off the telephone with MICHAEL LEARNED! When she answered her phone, before she even said hello Carolyn, these are the words I heard her say, "I will, I will, I will!" I laughed and said, "Am I speaking with the real Michael Learned?" She said, "Yes you are, and I will come to your reunion this year - especially since it is your birthday too!" So Walton Friends, MICHAEL LEARNED has made a commitment to attend our Walton's Int'l Fan Club Fall Reunion the week-end of October 31 - November 1, 2014! More details will be mailed out when I get all details in."

That's great news! I would love to see David Harper! I know he attended just last year, but I didn't know about these reunions (or this forum) until just recently.

That is indeed wonderful news!!! I really hope many others come. I can't say I can pick one over the other, so I just hope they all come! Meeting Michael Learned would be such a wonderful experience.

Jeri, that photo is of myself and Earl Hamner. It was taken on the front porch of the Walton's house set at Warner Bros studio when we toured it as part of the 2012 Waltons reunion. Mr. Hamner looks great for his age that's for sure. My husband would get a kick out of you wondering if that was him since he's about half the age of Mr. Hamner.
